Sexual assault Good Samaritan sought by Surrey police
Police want to speak to woman who intervened when she saw a man attacking another woman in Holland Park
Surrey police are looking for a woman who intervened when she witnessed a man sexually assaulting another woman in Holland Park in August.
The assault took place on Tuesday, August 25, some time between midday and 8:00 p.m. PT, when an unknown man attacked a woman near King George Boulevard and 100th Avenue.
Police say the attack was interrupted when another woman walking her dog nearby stopped to ask if the victim needed help, causing the attacker to flee the scene.
The victim was not able to get the name of her Good Samaritan, but police are hoping she will come forward to assist them.
Meanwhile, police say a suspect has been identified and is described as Caucasian, six feet tall with a muscular build, reddish short hair. He was wearing a blue hat and black sweater.
