Search and Rescue crews in Coquitlam, B.C. have begun testing unmanned drones, in the hope that having a bird's eye view could help them save more lives.

Drones — also known as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) — can operate in any weather and can often reach areas a helicopter can't.

And as Deborah Goble reports, they could be the future of search and rescue in British Columbia.
