Sandeep Sidhu, Jimi Sandhu, Gavinder Grewal named in Abbotsford public safety warning
Police want information about Sandeep Sidhu, Jimi Sandhu, Gavinder Grewal
An unusual public safety warning has been issued by police in Abbotsford, B.C., for anyone connected to or who happens to be around three men involved in violence, drugs and weapons.
In a press release, police say they have had extensive dealings with Sandeep Sidhu, Jimi Sandhu and Gavinder Grewal, who they say have a variety of convictions including assault, extortion, trafficking and possession of weapons.
In addition, Sidhu is currently facing two charges of assault with a weapon and one count of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
"We believe it is in the public’s best interest that the identities of these men are known so people associating with or in close physical proximity to them understand their safety could be in danger," said Sgt. Casey Vinet.
"Efforts to curtail growing tensions between these individuals made but we are very concerned that violence could occur in public settings."
The men are described as South Asian and range in age from 25 to 27 years old. All three men are prohibited from possessing firearms.
Vinet said one of the men is from Abbotsford and the others live in Langley and Vancouver.
