A small rockslide on the Sea to Sky Highway connecting Vancouver and Whistler has reduced traffic to a single lane.

The rockslide occurred one or two kilometres north of the junction with Marine Drive near the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal early Wednesday morning.

There were no injuries, but the northbound lane of Highway 99 was closed, leaving a single lane. Police expect the rubble to be cleared by 9 a.m. PT.

A much larger rockslide farther north near Porteau Cove closed the highway in July for five days. Another small slide also closed the highway for a day in February.
