A 12-unit condo building in Vancouver's West End is ready to receive refugees, after real estate magnate Ian Gillespie offered up the whole building as temporary housing.
The Westbank Developments units, some of which were bachelor apartments, have been completely renovated to house refugee families of up to seven people.
Developers anticipate welcoming the first Syrian refugee families over the next two weeks.
