2 people taken to hospital following a pit bull attack in Surrey

Two people have been taken to hospital in stable condition following a pit bull attack, Friday afternoon in Surrey.

Two people have been taken to hospital in stable condition following a pit bull attack, Friday afternoon in Surrey.

The B.C. Ambulance Service says it received a call shortly before 2 p.m. PT that a number of people had been bitten by one or more animals at a home on Loughren Drive near Highway 1. 

Three ambulances were sent to the scene and paramedics were seen attending to four people near the home. 

Animal control officers took away at least two pit bull-type dogs.

RCMP and animal control have yet to release details of the incident.
