Port Metro Vancouver chemical fire closes parts of downtown core

A four-alarm chemical fire at Port Metro Vancouver terminal broke out Wednesday forcing hundreds to stay indoors for several hours while fire crews battled heavy smoke and flames. Parts of the downtown core were shut down, and residents were told to stay indoors to avoid exposure to a toxic cloud.
