A man was taken to hospital in serious condition after he was hit by a Mercedes car in Vancouver.
It happened on Commercial Drive around 1:30 a.m. PT Thursday at 1st Avenue.
The B.C. Ambulance Service said the man was transported to hospital on basic life support, with lights and sirens.
Police kept the collision scene sealed until 4 a.m., while they waited to hear an update on the pedestrian's condition.
