On the Coast's quest to find the one song that will unite us all
Poll is open until noon on Monday, 4 May
On The Coast takes politics, the environment, health care and transportation very seriously — but also music.
And while we seem to do pretty good job on the news, it's not always the case with our selection of songs, at least according to some of our listeners.
To be fair some of our listeners think we do a great job, but we don't hear from them so often. What we do get is calls and emails from angry listeners who say we ruined the show and their day, with one song.
So in the interest of making peace with the fine OTC listeners, we asked for their help.
What is the one song that can unite us all? That was our simple question three weeks ago.
We didn't want your favourite song or the one you first danced to at your wedding. We wanted the one song you thought everyone could agree was pretty great.
After playing the most requested songs and reading the feedback we now have a Top 5 list of songs.
Have a listen one more time - then vote! The winner will be announced on On the Coast on Monday at 5:20 p.m. PT.

- Don't Think Twice It's Alright - Bob Dylan
