Four men have been charged in connection with a man who was found dead Tuesday in North Vancouver, B.C.

Police said Wednesday they were responding to an alleged kidnapping when they discovered the body of a man in the area of Lynn Valley. They have yet to release his name.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says the police response to the kidnapping was directly related to an active and ongoing investigation taking place throughout Metro Vancouver.

Four men have been arrested: Tian Zhang, 23 and Casey Hiscoe, 21, have been charged with kidnapping and indignity to a body. The other two, Dyllan Green, 20 and Jacob Gorelik, 18, have also been charged with indignity to a body.

Sgt. Stephanie Ashton with IHIT said they are only releasing limited information in order to "protect the integrity of the investigation," but reassured the public this was a targeted incident.
