A Nanaimo B.C. woman has died after being hit by a car on New Year's Eve.
Police say the 58-year-old woman was using a marked pedestrian crosswalk on Thursday afternoon when she was struck.
The 67-year-old man driving the car was not injured and remained at the scene.
