Vancouver police arrest missing federal offender

Vancouver police have arrested a federal offender who had been missing since Friday.

Vancouver police have arrested a federal offender who had been missing for two days.

A Canada-wide warrant was issued for 34-year-old Tyler Gagnon's arrest after he failed to return to his halfway house on Friday. 

On Sunday just before 4 p.m. Vancouver Police saw Gagnon near West 4th Avenue and Vine Street and arrested him.

Gagnon is on parole for a sentence of five years and nine months for robbery, assault, break and enter, possession of stolen property, mischief, theft of a motor vehicle and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
