March of the penguins at Vancouver Aquarium

African penguins are delighting visitors at Vancouver Aquarium during a new Penguin Walk show, giving the animals the chance to strut their stuff in front of eager aquarium visitors.

Aquarium guide Madeleine Irving hopes seeing the endangered penguins up close will inspire people to take action to save them.

The walk also provides a little extra exercise for the flightless birds and a chance to work with trainers to learn new behaviours.
