Man shot, pepper sprayed in Coquitlam attack

A man was shot with a pellet gun and hit with bear spray during a robbery in Coquitlam, B.C., Tuesday night.

A man was shot with a pellet gun and hit with bear spray during a robbery in Coquitlam, B.C., Tuesday night.

Police said the man drove himself from the location of the attack at Pipeline Road and Lincoln Avenue to the Sunwood Square Mall, where he able to get help. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police have not released the man's identity, but said it appears to have been a targeted attack.
