A man in his 20s or early 30s suffered life-threatening injuries Tuesday night after being shot in a residential area in Surrey, B.C., police said.
A man in his 20s or early 30s suffered life-threatening injuries Tuesday night after being shot in a residential area in Surrey, B.C., police said.
Police responded to a complaint of shots fired at a residence on Timberland Road west of Old Yale Road around 6:15 p.m., Surrey RCMP Sgt. Roger Morrow said.
"The initial information being provided to investigators on scene indicates that this event appears to be a targeted attack," Morrow said in a release.
The man, whose identity has not been confirmed, was taken to hospital for treatment, Morrow said.
"Police believe two suspects may have fled the area after the event, and attempts are being made to obtain a description of them and their vehicle(s)," he said.
