Man arrested at scene of west side homicide in Vancouver
Vancouver police are investigating the death of a woman that they say is the city's 17th homicide of the year.

Police say they responded to a 911 call from an apartment in the 2300 block of West 5th Ave. just after 12:30 p.m. PT Tuesday and found the body of a woman inside a first floor suite.
Investigators said a man was arrested at the scene on the city's west side.
"A man was taken into custody, and he was taken to the hospital," said police spokesperson Const. Anne Longley.
The man's condition was not revealed.
Neighbours told CBC News the man and the victim are the building manager and his wife, but police would not confirm the relationship between the two.
