Lost hiker found safe after late night rescue on Mount Seymour

North Shore Rescue says the woman was hiking alone when she went off-trail, around Suicide Bluffs on Mount Seymour.

Rescue officials say the woman was cold, but otherwise uninjured

A hiker who got lost on the North Shore is safe after search teams found her late Friday night.

Mike Danks with North Shore Rescue said the woman was hiking alone when she went off-trail around Suicide Bluffs on Mount Seymour.

A search and rescue team was dispatched, and eventually found her. Danks said the woman was cold but otherwise uninjured.

They were able to walk her back to the Mount Seymour parking lot around midnight Friday.
