Body recovered from Lions Bay beach during search for missing woman
Police say body appears to match description of Lorraine Prebushewski, 59, reported missing on Sunday
Squamish RCMP say they've found the body of a woman off the shoreline of Kelvin Grove Beach in Lions Bay, B.C.
While they have not confirmed the remains are that of Lorraine Prebushewski, they say it's believed the body matches the description of the 59-year-old who was last seen Sunday.
Prebushewski left the home of a family member on Kelvin Grove Way at 10 a.m. PT Sunday and was reported missing by family later the same day.
The B.C. Coroners Service still has to confirm the identity.

According to search manager Ed Langford, Prebushewski was new to Lions Bay and was not out hiking.
The search was suspended last night due to darkness, and about a dozen search volunteers resumed the search Monday morning.
She was originally from Saskatchewan and had ties to the Coquitlam area.
