Investigators in B.C.'s Fraser Valley are trying to determine what caused a fire at a Health Canada-licensed marijuana grow-op this morning.
The fire broke out in an outbuilding at a Silverdale-area farm on Lougheed Highway at around 2 a.m. PT.
Mission RCMP said no one was injured.
Sgt. Shaun Wright said in a written statement that the cause of the fire is still being determined, "but the presence of the marijuana grow operation is believed to be a contributing factor."
"Police are looking at any possible links but there is no indication that this incident is linked to any other recent fires in the Mission area," he said.
