The coroner's service said on Tuesday that the inquest jury — which will hear the case from April 28 to May 2 and from May 5 to 9, 2008 — will be able to make recommendations aimed at preventing deaths under similar circumstances in the future.

Lee, who was 38, was scheduled to be in court on the day of the deaths to face concerns he had been violating his bail conditions that required him to stay away from the family.

He was granted bail after a July 31 incident where he was charged with deliberately trying to hurt his wife when he crashed the family Land Rover into a power pole.
