Two people were found dead inside a home in the 6200 block of Goldsmith Road in Richmond on Thursday night, according to the RCMP.
Police say they were called to the residence just after 10:30 p.m. for a report of a "suspicious circumstance."
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has joined the investigation.
"Police are currently in the early evidence gathering phase and no further information can be provided at this time," said police in a statement.
