IHIT investigating homicide inside Burnaby store

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is investigating a homicide it says happened at a business in Burnaby.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) is investigating a homicide it says happened inside a Burnaby business. 

IHIT reported in a tweet the death occurred in the 4500 block of North Road in a strip mall on the west side of the road.

Police have been inside the Cho Won Health Food store gathering evidence since late morning.

IHIT says the victim is female and the homicide appears to be targeted but have provided no other details. 

Witnesses to the incident are asked to call the IHIT hotline at 1-877-551-4448.
