Homicide victim found near Colony Farm ID'd

The body of a homicide victim discovered on Monday near a trail in the Colony Farm area of Coquitlam belongs to a 44-year-old man from Maple Ridge, investigators say.

The body of a homicide victim discovered on Monday near a trail in the Colony Farm area of Coquitlam belongs to a 44-year-old man from Maple Ridge, investigators say.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says Clifford Arthur Devitt was homeless, and often frequented the areas of Maple Ridge, Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam. He was not a resident of the psychiatric hospital at the site.

Investigators also found a bicycle they believe belonged to Devitt.
