Highway 1 fully reopened after crashes in B.C. Interior

Accidents Sunday evening along the Trans-Canada Highway in B.C. closed the roadway 27 kilometres west of Kamloops and 32 kilometres west of Revelstoke.

Highway 1 has reopened both directions after two separate crashes in B.C.'s Interior closed parts of the roadway on Sunday.

The first crash closed the highway in both directions 27 kilometres west of Kamloops just before 6:30 p.m. PT. A separate crash caused another closure later, 32 kilometres west of Revelstoke.

DriveBC said both portions of the road reopened before midnight.
