Drive BC says westbound traffic on Highway 1 at Mt. Lehman Road is moving again after the highway was closed for several hours because of a vehicle incident.

The highway was closed westbound between Mt. Lehman Road and 264th St. in Langley, B.C., causing major traffic delays Sunday afternoon.

B.C. Emergency Health Services said the highway was closed so its air ambulances could land. Two people were transported to hospital by the critical care paramedic team. They were unable to share further details on the patients' condition.

Drive BC says all lanes are open but delays are expected until the congestion clears.
