When the whole house is decked out

Lori Webber says she lost her front yard in North Vancouver, B.C. to chafer beetles, so her husband decided to make the most of it by, among other things, building a pirate ship.

The front door features a witch.

Meanwhile, a haunted tunnel connects to the back yard where there is a cemetery.

Planning for costumes

We all know that making a fabulous costume can take some planning. Kim Kendall from Delta, B.C. says her children, Alyssa and Ryan, are going as a cowgirl and a Minion.

David Prissinotti says his nine year old is dressed up as Twisty the Clown from American Horror Story.

One B.C. dad went all out in creating a Scooby Doo Mystery Machine for his son's Halloween costume.

Chad Poole says all he wants is for his four-year-old son Jackson to feel included and the pre-schooler's cerebral palsy can make trick or treating something of a challenge. So he made this mobile Halloween costume.

Chad Poole kneels by the Mystery Machine he made for his four-year-old disabled son, Jackson.

Fun with Jack O Lanterns

Is it too early for Christmas?

Sandra Smith from Kamloops, B.C. made a Halloween-inspired wreath for her home.
