Google Science Fair winner comes home to acclaim

Vancouver Island student Ann Makosinski, 15, has been honoured after winning her age category in the Google Science Fair.

Makosinski entered the global online competition with her innovative design for a flashlight powered by body heat.

This week, she returned home to B.C. and was honoured at her high school for her achievement.
