After a week of not hearing from the police, one local business decided to take a hand at detective work and get to the bottom of a theft.

When a local Gastown business had its $7,500-worth of equipment stolen, the employees called the police and expected them to come to the scene of the crime and review the surveillance footage.
But the police didn't show up until CBC News called them a week later. They say it was a misunderstanding between officers and the victims, but as Shane Foxman reports, tired of waiting, the business decided to take matters into their own hands.
