The Vancouver Park Board is looking into the possibility not just of extending the seawall along English Bay, but now also creating another wall along the Fraser River.

Last week there was much talk of extending the Vancouver seawall beyond the west side of Kitsilano pool, and now there's talk about opening up another waterfront walkway — along the Fraser River.

The Vancouver Park Board has asked its administrative staff to look into what is needed and who the board has to work with to make sections of paths along the river into one continuous walking and biking route.

As the CBC’s Belle Puri reports, one long-time friend of the river knows exactly what's needed.
