Fire at Collingwood School in West Vancouver

The West Vancouver Fire department was called to Collingwood School after reports of a one-alarm fire.

The West Vancouver Fire department was called to Collingwood School, a private school, after reports of a one-alarm fire.

Fire crews were called at about 8:55 a.m. PT, due to what appears to have been a small fire in the electrical room.

The school was evacuated, but students and staff were allowed back in after the fire was extinguished by a maintenance person.

Fire crews are still on scene investigating what happened.
