Stabbing in downtown Vancouver sends 2 men to hospital

The attack happened near a nightclub on Granville Street near Robson Street around 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police believe the alleged assailant knew the two victims, aged 29 and 55

Two men are in hospital after a stabbing in downtown Vancouver early Saturday morning.

Vancouver police said they found the two men, aged 29 and 55, suffering from stab wounds outside a nightclub on Granville Street near Robson Street around 2:30 a.m.

They said the men were taken to hospital, where they remain with serious but non life-threatening injuries.

Vancouver police Const. Jason Doucette said the suspect fled immediately following the attack, but they believe they knew the victims.

Police are asking for any witnesses to come forward.
