The Vancouver Police are looking for Darren Wheatley, a high-risk sex offender, who didn't report to his halfway house on Thursday night, wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for breaching court-imposed release conditions.

Wheatley, 45, is a two-time federal offender, having served a 10-year sentence for two counts of sexual assault, sexual assault causing bodily harm, and two counts of overcoming resistance by choking, after attacking three women in Ontario.

He is described as Aboriginal, six feet tall, with a large build and weighing about 230 pounds. He has tattoos of a skull and a feather on his right upper arm and a script design on his left upper arm.

Police are asking anyone who sees Wheatley, or knows of his whereabouts, not to approach him and to call 911 immediately.
