Daniel Alphonse Paul sought in suspicious death of Vancouver woman
Paul named as person of interest in death of 36-year-old found dead in home on Vancouver's eastside
Vancouver police are asking for help locating Daniel Alphonse Paul, 42, in connection with the suspicious death of a 36-year-old Vancouver woman.
Police say they were called March 3rd after the woman was found dead in the basement suite of a home on East 22 Avenue near Main Street.
Homicide detectives have classified her death as suspicious and are still at the the home investigating the circumstances.
"Police believe that Daniel Paul is a person of interest in the case and that he has valuable information to share in relation to this woman's death,” said VPD spokesman Sgt. Randy Fincham.
Paul is aboriginal, five feet eight inches tall with a medium build, brown eyes and short black hair.
Police are asking anyone who has seen him to call 9-11 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
