A crane has fallen onto a container ship at the Port of Vancouver after a vessel crashed into it early Monday.
The ship was berthing when it hit the orange Vanterm ship-to-shore crane around 4 a.m.
Global Container Terminals, which owns the crane, said no one was hurt when it tipped over, but an exclusion zone has been set up to keep workers back.
Tugs are holding the affected ship in place. A statement said all vessel operations at Vanterm have been halted.
Vanterm is one of several container terminals at the Port.
