Child, 4, dies after fall from window of Langley home

A four-year-old child has died after falling from the upper-storey window of a home in Langley, say RCMP.

A four-year-old child has died after falling from the upper-storey window of a home in Langley, say RCMP.  

The incident occurred shortly after 3 p.m. in the city's Willoughby neighbourhood. 

The B.C. Ambulance Service says the child was transported to hospital in critical condition.

The child died shortly after 4 p.m. PT, according to police.

Police say they are not treating the incident as suspicious, but the serious crime section will continue to investigate. 

Cpl. Holly Largy says the child was not home alone at the time.
