Chance the Rapper, Muse to headline Pemberton Music Festival
Eagles of Death Metal also performing, nearly 2 years after performing at concert hall that was attacked
The Pemberton Music Festival will be back for its fourth consecutive year. Organizers unveiled their lineup for the four-day-long festival.
Chance the Rapper, Muse and A Tribe Called Quest are the headliners. Huka Entertainment is organizing the event.
"We are obsessed with creating lasting musical moments in majestic settings," said Evan Harrison, CEO of Huka, in a statement. "Over these past four years, word has spread both within the artist community and with music fans worldwide about what a special experience Pemberton is – the vibe and the beauty. Year four will be the best Pemby Fest yet!"
Eagles of Death Metal set to perform
Eagles of Death Metal is also set to perform. The band was performing when the Bataclan concert hall in Paris was attacked by terrorists in November, 2015.
Organizers of the Pemberton Music Festival say more than 180,000 people attended last year's event.
"For the last four years, the community of Pemberton has opened their arms to help us welcome fans far and wide to experience an incredible musical event in the best place on Earth," says A.J. Niland, Chairman and Chief Experience Officer of Huka Entertainment. "This year we are rolling out various enhancements to super-serve our tens of thousands of campers, including ridesharing, making it easier than ever for fans to attend with their friends."
Early bird tickets are sold out according to the event's website. The remaining tickets go on sale May 2, at 10 a.m. PT.
