CBC's B.C. journalists win 16 RTDNA awards

CBC's B.C. team has scooped 16 RTDNA regional awards from the Association of Electronic Journalists including an award for the best online news coverage in B.C and best TV newscast in a large market.

The CBC Newsroom in Vancouver is supported by the work of journalists, producers and hosts at bureaus in Victoria, Kelowna, Prince George, Nelson, Prince Rupert and Kamloops.

CBC's B.C. team has scooped 16 RTDNA regional awards from the Association of Electronic Journalists including an award for the best online news coverage in B.C and best TV newscast in a large market.

More than half the wins went to CBC Radio. CBC`s investigative journalism won awards on all three platforms: radio, TV and online.

The awards were presented at the RTDNA's annual banquet Saturday night in Vancouver.
