A woman has been taken to hospital after driving under a school bus in Langley, B.C., early Tuesday afternoon. Langley RCMP say there were no children on the bus at the time.

Cpl. Holly Marks says the car hit the back end of the bus, and went under it as the bus was slowing down for a red light at 32 Ave.

Two of the three people in the car managed to get out, but the female driver was trapped and needed to be freed from the vehicle.

Mark says the woman suffered minor injuries, but B.C. ambulance says her injuries were serious.

The man driving the school bus was reportedly shaken up, but was not hurt, according to Marks.

RCMP are asking anyone who saw the crash to give them a call at 604-532-3200.
