The latest counts for mayor and council in B.C.'s biggest cities
Preliminary results are now in for British Columbia's municipal elections.
Unofficial results show Ken Sim will be elected mayor of Vancouver, with a decisive win over incumbent Kennedy Stewart. Official results will be declared on Oct. 19 at 4 p.m. PT.
In B.C.'s second-biggest city, Surrey, Brenda Locke defeated incumbent Doug McCallum, according to preliminary polls.
