Badly beaten victim not expected to survive New West attack
A suspect has been arrested after a badly beaten man was found on Tuesday evening in New Westminster, B.C.
A suspect has been arrested after a badly beaten man was found on Tuesday evening in New Westminster, B.C.
Police say the victim, whose name has not been released, was found near the intersection of 23rd Street and 8th Avenue around 7:45 p.m. PT.
Sgt. Bari Eman said the victim was taken to hospital, but he is not expected to survive, and investigators with the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team have taken charge of the case.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police.
