The B.C. government has released a list of the top paid public sector executives for the fourth year in a row, including base pay and performance bonuses.

T.M. Bechard, managing director of Powerex — BC Hydro

  • Base salary: $358,800.
  • Incentive plan: $540,000.
  • Annual employer pension contribution: $22,560.
  • Other compensation and benefits: $90,358.

Total: $1,011,718.

Allan Seckel, deputy minister to the premier and head of B.C. Public Service

  • Base salary: $268,006.
  • Annual employer pension contribution: $26,827.
  • Other compensation and benefits: $16,543.
  • Severance: $549, 776.

Total: $861,152.

Martyn Brown, deputy minister of Jobs, Tourism & Innovation
