B.C.'s '10 most wanted' targeted by RCMP
A list of B.C.'s 10 most wanted suspects — sought for first-degree murder, trafficking, fraud, money laundering, assault and other offences — has been released by the RCMP.
Police compiled the list from B.C. in order to target the province's most dangerous offenders, Insp. Tim Shields says.
"We asked detachments and specialized investigative units across the province for the names of their most wanted suspects. These 10 are the names we got back," said Shields, the senior spokesman for the RCMP in British Columbia. "They are wanted for violent and serious offences, and the sooner we can get them off our streets the better.
"We want the community to know who these people are, and to remind the public if they see them not to approach, but to call police right away."
The 10 most wanted are:
- Arnold Louette ALEXIS - Attempted murder
- Dean Jeffrey ANDERSON - Assault and breach of probation
- Conor Vincent D'MONTE - First-degree murder
- Jeffrey Paul EMERY - Aggravated assault
- Thomas Lawrence GRANT - Property offences, dangerous operation of motor vehicle, mischief
- Minh Tan LE - Drugs, money laundering
- Ronald MILJURE - Break & enter, robbery
- Marcus SHEENA - Breach of probation for assault with a weapon
- Cory VALLEE - First-degree murder
- Apollo Alex VERDE - Fraud
Anyone with information about these people or their current whereabouts is asked to call their local police or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
