CBC is working to restore radio service to the Oliver and Osoyoos areas in B.C.'s southern Interior after the recent wildfires in the area destroyed power lines supplying the transmitter.
The fire is still active within a few hundred metres of the site and fire officials say it's unlikely anyone can get in on Monday.
But once the fire situation is under control, CBC technicians will install a temporary generator until electricity is fully restored.
CBC Radio normally broadcasts to both communities at 95.3 FM. You can still listen to the online broadcast here.
In recent days wildfires near Rock Creek and Osoyoos have destroyed at least 30 homes and forced the evacuation of hundreds of residents.
