Dr. Ali Okhowat co-founded and was Co-Lead of the World Health Organization (WHO) Innovation Hub and served as a Health Emergency Officer at its Headquarters in Geneva and the Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office in Cairo. He is currently the Physician Lead of the Fraser Northwest COVID-19 and Influenza-Like Illness Assessment Centre in New Westminster and Co-Lead of the Enhanced Skills Program in Global Health at the University of British Columbia.
