Obstruction charge stayed for Prince George RCMP officer
Crown prosecutors have stayed an obstruction of justice charge against an RCMP officer in Prince George, B.C. The constable was one of several officers charged after the 2017 death of a First Nations man in police custody. Last month, manslaughter charges were stayed against two other RCMP officers in the case.
