Air Canada is offering a 25 percent discount on flights between now and July 22 from Kamloops, Kelowna, Penticton, Prince George, and Williams Lake to any destination in North America.
In addition, Air Canada says anyone flying to, from, or via the affected areas between now and July 22 can make changes free of charge.
Free accommodations
Airbnb is also waiving fees for some hosts who are offering free accommodations between July 8 and July 31 for those affected by the B.C. wildfires.
There are currently 21 listings for rooms or homes in various locations, including the Thompson-Nicola region, Central Okanagan and South Coast.
In order for the fees to be waived, users must follow the rental steps and will be prompted by a message asking if the user has been displaced by British Columbia's wildfires.
People who are interested in offering their home for free to people displaced by the fires, or volunteers and emergency workers can list their place on the home-sharing website.
