9 arrested after shooting in Surrey hotel parking lot

Police in Surrey have arrested nine people after an exchange of gunfire between vehicles in a hotel parking lot early Monday morning.

Police in Surrey have arrested nine people after an exchange of gunfire between vehicles in a hotel parking lot early Monday morning.

Surrey RCMP responded to the 1100 block of King George Boulevard at about 3:10 a.m. PT, according to a release.

Two vehicles were seen fleeing the area. Police have found one of them, and may have located the other but that's not yet confirmed, the release said.

Police believe the shooting was targeted, between individuals that know one another.

One person was treated for minor injuries from broken glass.
