A 44-year-old Chilliwack man died Monday of severe head injuries after his unapproved beanie helmet offered no protection when he crashed his motorcycle near Abbotsford on Friday.

A 57-year-old Langley man died Saturday in a crash on the Sea-to-Sky Highway — one of two collisions on that route within hours, that injured two other motorcyclists, including the dead man's wife.

And RCMP say a 20-year-old ATV rider also died on Saturday when he plunged over an embankment after missing a curve on a forest road north of Harrison Hot Springs.
