2 dead in suspected targeted hit in Prince George
Two people were killed in what appears to be a targeted hit in Prince George, B.C., overnight Tuesday, according to the RCMP
The victims were found inside a home on the southwest side of the city. Major crimes investigators would not say how the pair died, but did confirm foul play was involved.
Const. Gary Godwin said it was not clear if the deaths were connected to a recent outbreak of violent gang-related crimes in Prince George.
"The major homicides that we have had in the city, and the beatings and the torture, have all been gang related. It is too early in the investigation to say whether this is the case," he said Wednesday morning.
"We haven't identified the two individuals at this point, but once we do, we will know a little more," said Godwin.
