Homicide investigators say a man has been charged in the shooting death of a man in South Surrey last year.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) says Bryce Dallas Campbell, 27, faces a first-degree murder charge in connection with the shooting of 33-year-old David Goldstein at a home near 24 Avenue and 152A Street in Surrey on April 6, 2022.

Goldstein was found with critical injuries and died later in hospital.

IHIT says Campbell is currently in custody for two counts of second-degree murder in the daylight shooting deaths of Jordan Krishna and Robeen Soreni at the South Surrey Athletic Park in July 2022.

He's also charged with attempted murder for shooting a third man, Harbir Khosa, who suffered life-threatening injuries.

According to online court records, Campbell was previously found guilty of possession of stolen property over $5,000, possession of break-in tools, firearms offences, possession of a stolen credit card, wilfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer, breach of release orders and driving while disqualified.
